If anyone knows of some good Pa trout flies I would really like to know what they are.

A bit confusing some of these state abbreviations to us 'furriners'.
I thought it was a query about the family flies.![]()

Where in PA????
Not sure where Glenmoore is. In the SE corner, 5 county Philadelphia area. I use various dry midge patterns size 22 to 28 and CDC and Elks from size 12 to 18. Subsurface, PT Nymphs, natural, brown and olive, sizes 26 to 14, Hare's Ear Nymphs sizes 22 to 12, olive, tan, brown, natural and black and that old stand by the Green Weenie, size 26 to size 10, the larger sizes I use for panfish. I also throw bait fish patterns, same ones I use for smallmouth at them.
Not sure what area your looking for but heres a hatch chart that goes for NE PA

Check out the hatch chart on my site, it has most of the flies for PA and the months they hatch.
