    Default unpinning ferrule

I would like to get off a ferrule that is pinned, which I understand you do by punching the pin through till it can be pulled out, but the ferrule I want to get off has a pin only on one side so it can't be punched thru - any way to get this out?

push it in, it is very short and will go into the bamboo.
Once you have the ferrule off, you can remove the pin from the bamboo.

Bamboo rods were made to fish, so fish them.
