    FG - Been waiting for you to post about that loop. I changed most of my lines over to the "FG Loop" after seeing your post a few months ago on another board. Works like a charm! I used Danville 6/0 thread in "fire orange", and it makes a pretty good strike indicator for nymphing. I tested the strength of that loop on a line I didn't use any more, and the line broke before the loop failed. Fly lines are only something like 30 pound test in the lower line weights.......Ed

    i hear all this talk about furled leaders.. on cabelas they cost like 12 bucks.. is there any other place that sells it for an affordable price? i believe i see some on ebay but even paying 8 bucks a leader is a tad pricey.

    I think half the people here on FAOL make them, just check previous posts on Furled and PM them, Heck pm me an address and I will shoot you a couple to try.
