Funny, you should say that because at this time every year I think about getting back to Idaho for some westslopes. I grew up in Spokane and used to fish the Coeur d'Alene all the time and have had my eys on a few other rivers in Idaho for some time. Somehow, I get busy every summer with work and don't find the time to get out there except maybe a day on the CDA.

If and when you plan this outting let me know. I missed a huge lingcod once and I would love to have another go at one, or any salty fish really. I have caught sculpin in Yaquina bay, but they fight like nothing and I mean nothing.

Paul, we're going to have a busy spring and summer once we get started. Imagine, stripers, steelhead, salty fish, shad, smb, trout, bluegill, yellow perch and crappie all in the same day with only about three hours driving from door to door !
