Thanks for getting back with me during such a hectic time with the holidays, family gatherings and all.
I expect we'll see more responses after Christmas/New Years, and we'll be able to nail down specifics.
In the meantime, Kate and I wish all of you a merry Christmas. But most of all, good health. We know first-hand that without good health, there is no happiness.
May God bless all of you this coming year.

weekend works for me and wading is good also hell i'm easy fishing is fishing
Party of two...We are definetly interested in the wade fishing and the night fishing for snook. We would be staying in Sarasota. Most likey we would come down for one of the weeks in February.
I assume the wading is done for red fish and sea trout I would like some info on how the snook fishing is done under the lights if not by wading or kayak.
Charlie
Glad to have you join us, Charlie. The night snooking is done from a boat.

Yikes ... ... February!?
The weekend of Feb 23rd thru 25th is booked. The grandson and I are camping/kayaking/fishing in Chokoloskee that weekend. Campsite booked and approval from mom for him to take a leave of absence (play hooky ) that Friday.
The weekend before is only tentatively booked.
The Feb. night Snook fishing is very enticing but early to mid March would work better for me.

I'll probably come down for a week, possibly with my brother. I'll camp if I'm by myself and fish day and night, wade, yak, whatever it takes. I've got some new flies I'm dying to try.
Thunderthumbs.
Add us to your list. This will be our third FFI,great people and great times. Can't wait to see ya'all. March would be better for us.

OK. boys and girls--let's positively nail down the date for the Florida Fish-In. Lots of folks are ambivalent, and some prefer early March.
So, how about we make it the week of March 4? Several of you have already said "I'm in!" Please confirm your intentions ASAP, with requests for camping or motel info, so that Kevin and I can make the whole thing work as smoothly as possible. Sure, there undoubtedly will be glitches, but we'll try to keep 'em to a minimum.
Once we have a pretty good idea of number of people, where they'll be staying, etc., we can set up Party Central and work out the fishing part of the deal.
If anyone needs casting instruction for saltwater, we'll need to know that too, so we can try to do a quickie seminar. If you want guides, book 'em sooner rather than later because that's a very busy time of year. Ditto if you want to rent yaks.
Tight Loops,
We stayed at the recommended motel last winter and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Coin operated laundry on-site. See ya there!
