Free Rod Building Book
Art Scheck's "Flyrod Building Made Easy"........free to any newbies wanting to build their own rods. It's a great book for beginners. I tried my hand at rod building and just didn't find it that enjoyable...so call me crazy, it's just the way I feel. Anyway..the first reply to this from a newbie itchin to wrap some thread and play with epoxy gets it...I'll even ship it free......Jason
Is this book for the bamboo, glass or graphite nut?

I have been thinking about building my first fly rod. Can you suggest any good books on this subject for a beginner?

Art Scheck's book is awesome, lot's of great pictures, and he really simplifies the rod building process. I have built 45-50 rods and still reference this book from time to time.
It is in my opinion, the best beginner's book out there on Rodbuilding.
Someone should really take Feenom up on this offer.
