fly tying shows schedule?

The other post about tying at shows has gotten me thinking...how would one know when and where shows will be taking place? I can't really see a show ever coming to my little island, but if I were travelling, say to Toronto, how would I know if there will be some fishing related show or convention happening while I am there? This is probably common sense for most, but I've always been one fly short of a full box Thanx

In the left hand column go to "Features" then go to "Shows"....you might find what you want there.

Here's a link to a major promotor of shows. I didn't see any for your area though, and that's not to say there isn't another promotor or group that won't have a nearby show.
