Today is Pioneer Day in Utah. The folks of Utah have bigger celebrations, rodeos and parades than on the 4th of July. This is the day they celebrate the Mormons arriving in Utah.

Well, the 24th was the day after the youngest daughter's wedding in Lawrence, Kansas. That means that she has been married 3 days know and I just got home todat in time to get the bus to work. And life goes on........
P.S. the wedding was great, and I had a great time, even in the 100 plus heat and 90 plus himidity. This high and dry country boy did melt some though!

Ah, July 24th....I was married to my bride Colleen 7/18/70, which means we celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary last week. My last name is Flanagan & her maiden name was Donahue.......please explain to me how 2 hot-headed damned Irish people waited 6 whole days of marriage to have their first major argument!! I'm afraid we've disgraced our heritage!!!
