I admit, I will be the first one to b*tch and complain when I recive subpar service. This leaves me no choice but to praise 2 companies who have done well by me recently (3 if you include the comments I added to the Knoxville, TN thread yesterday).

The first is Teton. While out fishing the salt a couple of weeks ago, my Tioga #10 was bumped, and the reel foot fell off. The screws were stripped and pulled out. So, off goes the reel to Teton, asking them to tap the srewholes a bit larger, and put in a bigger screw. I sent the reel to them on July 1st. They received it on July 5th shortly before noon. Not only did they replace the whole frame with a brand new one at no charge, but it was shipped out to me within a matter of hours. I'm not easily impressed, but they've made an impression on me.

The second one is Aqua Pac. I bought one for my camera shortly after reading about it here a couple(?) of years ago. [url=http://flyanglersonline.com/prorevw/aquapac.html:e8432]http://flyanglersonline.com/prorevw/aquapac.html[/url:e8432] I usually just wear it around my neck while fishing, and take the camera out for photos. Well, after a recent fishing trip, I noticed the clear area that you can shoot photos through was separating from the rest of the bag. I simply sent them an e-mail explaining what happened, and asking about the normal life expectancy of their product. The return e-mail told me to ship it to them and they would replace it at no charge. Upon receiving the old one, they informed me that there was a one week backorder, and they would ship it out as soon as they had stock. I didn't mind the extra weeks wait, but I certainly appreciated their communication with me to let me know about it.
