My fishing buddy's fishing buddy

I haven't said much about my fishing buddy lately. He is my grandson. When he got out of the Air Force, he joined the reserves and completed his bachelor's degree in economics. During the last five years he has been pretty busy. Married, a father two times and one on the way. Completed medical school and is in his second year of residency. We have hooked up for fishing on our birthday several times over the years but not as much as before. Last week was the family campout. He brought his oldest son, Liam, to the camp on Sunday and his wife came on Monday with Luke. He is 2 and Liam is 5. We did not go due to health reasons. I texted my grandson and asked him to send me a picture if Liam caught a fish. A few hours later I got the text. Liam holding a nice size trout. Eddie said they all went to the sand trap on Lee Vining Creek and Liam was the only one that caught a fish. He makes me proud. He's a happy camper.
