Got out after work on Cinqo de Mayo. Caught 3 Grass Carp and some other stuff. Last one was the biggest, as light was fading:Got a late start on Saturday...couldn't decide where to go. Decided to spend 5 hours driving to fish for 3 hours. Caught 6 species. The highlights were:Redspotted Sunfish:Longear Sunfish:And a new-to-me species, Blackspotted Topminnow:Sunday, I tied some flies for a friend. Then had some time to kill before picking my wife up at the airport. The highlights were 3 Grass Carp, and a little Channel Catfish:

When it comes to fish..."Big or small, I like 'em all." The big ones are more fun, the small ones tend to be more colorful/interesting. I'm really not trying to become a "micro-fisherman", although I appreciate the knowledge of those that are. But if they are big enough to get hooked on my flies, I'm happy to catch them.
