    Default Fifty Six Creek

Heading out to a little blue line for a few hours.

Coming back from Canada the other day and it was still ?Moderate?

Tried to fish here 2 weeks ago and it was in runoff mode; still high and pushing hard but doable, although I did take a swim

No bugs around and the sun?s pretty bright so it takes a while for the trout to start looking up; when they do, drifting something

    along the seams

That's a big blue line stream compared to what I hike to here in Central, PA. Nice report.

Sure have missed your reports Scott, especially given what has become such a sleepy state of the board in general. Thanks much for sharing!

Another great post with beautiful pics !

Son and I went to Montana on the 5th of July from Indiana and we spent 5 days there. It was still pretty "rock n rollin" in a lot of spots.
I am 61 years old and had a new knee installed the 30th of Nov 2020 so Rock Creek wasn't the best choice but I managed to only "swim" once.
And I ached for a couple of days from all the slidin I did. Luckily, we floated a couple of days with a guide and I got to sit on my butt. The pain miraculously dissappeared those two days. But it returned "the further you got from Missoula Montana"

"Because by the Grace of God I can, be on a beautiful mountain stream with a friend , have the water boil from a 12" Native Brookie taking a self tyed dry,and feel it on the end of my cane... It don't get no better than that..."
