    Default two degrees warmer

I fished last Friday when the water temp was 68 degrees where I got in. I only caught 6 fish though I lost a few in the heavy moss. I fished the same place today when the temperature was 68 degrees and caught 25 decent bluegills with one very large bass (I'm snagged, no its moving; large) on for a moment before he leaped and threw my #12 hook. I expect fishing to continue to improve as the water warms.
I can think of few acts more selfish than refusing a vaccination.

Now that is fishing!! Much better than wading a mile or so and catching a couple of trout.

I'm heading out for a week's worth of fishing. The water should be warm enough that the bluegills should be spawning and the bass just coming off the beds. Fish from shore, dock and boat. I'm looking forward to it.
