It was 6:23 a.m. this morning and the sun was just peeking over the hill and illuminating the west side of the stream in certain places. The fog was still hanging low but was burning off fast. The high waters from this season had placed driftwood along the banks. The cows had manicured some of the stream banks to make it easily accessible. We fished until 10:30 a.m. and we lost track of how many fish we caught. Trout don't live in ugly places and we were reminded of that this morning.
