When stacking different deer hair colors on a bass bug, the usual outcome is a spot of color (you can also make them into concentric rings of color by stacking multiple colors of deer hair). This technique is for putting stripes on a bass bug. You use the same stacking technique, but use a much smaller bunch of deer hair, take 1 wrap of thread to hold it in place, then push down on the bunch with your thumb to spread it before tightening the thread and flaring it. Came out OK, I need to push down on the bunches more to get the strips more spread out.
