hook - Mustad 3906B #8
thread - Danville 6/0 brown
tail - pheasant rump
body - peacock herl/copper wire
wing - calftail white
hackle - hen brown

Part 1

mash barb, start thread 1 eye width back from eye, wrap to bend




strip some pheasant rump fibers, measure (gap width past bend), tie in/trim






tie in peacock, twist around thread, wrap up 1/3 of thread-wrapped shank; tie off/trim








tie in wire, wrap to 2/3 mark, helicopter end, cover with thread

repeat peacock sequence








clean, stack, measure (tips halfway to tail) a clump of calftail; tie in/trim butts






tie in (folded) hackle




wrap hackle, tie off/trim, whip finish, SHHAN
