I fished the Snake just above and just below the Wilson bridge last fall. I was wading. I think floating would be the way to do that river around there.
That time was the first "fishing trip" with my wife. I always felt guilty leaving her in the cabin. So I know what you mean. Usually she just tells me to go on my own.
She did enjoy YNP and especially looking through West Yellowstone. And we stayed in Jackson with an old friend for a few days. She enjoyed Jackson.
Took her to show our usual fishing haunts in Last Chance, Idaho and the Madison River below $3 Bridge as well as the streams in the Park.
Now, when my son and I talk about these spots, she knows where we're talking about.
