Default New website, including some fly tying articles

I just finished my new website: www.ycflyfishing.com. If you click the Tips page you can access an archive of a bunch of my old magazine articles. I'm still filling this in, but there are already a few of my old "Montana Fly Box" columns I did for Fishing & Hunting News in 2006-2007.

    Great site, Walter!

What source did you use to create your site?

    Byron:

I hand-coded it in HTML5 and CSS3. I'm not a web design expert by any means, but I have built a few. I also built www.parksflyshop.com and www.lakeofthozarksfishingguide.com. It woulld do me a lot of good to actually get efficient at building sites, because that'd be a heck of a winter gig...

Looks to me like you are quite good at it!!
Yes, that would be a great winter-time occupation.

Well, the amount of time it took me was probably 3x what a pro would take, and some things don't look right on phones. I also don't know how to do "responsive" design, aka making sites change how they display for devices with different resolutions, and that's where the main growth in web design is at.

Interesting. Agree, though, as I primarily use either my iPad or my phone. Just assumed sites "automatically" adjusted for varying devices. Makes sense, though.
