    Default Geese of a Feather

    The Greylag Goose has been used to tie some classic fly patterns. Is the domestic breed Toulouse Goose a good substitute?

    It could be..... What feathers? If wing slips, Canada or whitefront feathers would work just fine in my opinion....

    Kid, I was thinking more along the lines of Frank Sawyer patterns and using the herl.
