    Default set in tip

    I know this has been covered before, shoulda wrote it down. Refinishing an old chubb and the tip looks like a rocking chair. All ideas will be appreciated

    I just took the set out of a bamboo by applying pressure in the opposite direction! May have just gotten lucky!! A little Kentuckey windage!!

    I think a little heat such as a hair dryer would help with Jacks suggestion. I have a South Bend 4 pc that had a set in the tip section. I sent it to John Channer to straighten which he did but told me it may not stay which it did not. I tried to straighten it without heat.....John built me a new tip.
