Help needed on rod selection

I fish mainly lakes and I want a 3wt rod. I have found a Sage SPL 389, 3wt and a Winston IM6, 9 ft, 3 wt. Each rod is in good fished condition and the asking price is $275 for either one. It seems that the Sage is the faster of the two and the Winston might be good mostly for drys. Will some of you guys throw some opinions my way on the better of the two rods for lake fishing as well as which might be the better buy of the two? By the way, both are factory built with original socks and tubes.
