I can't say about fly fishing but there's a lot of feed lots in Kansas.

    Wes,
Are you sure it's bamboo? 2 tips.
Those numbers don't register with and South Bend I've seen.
Depending o the age and condition of the reel I've seen those go for anywhere from $20-50.
Get a little more info on the rod like length and line wt. and pass it along. If the rod is in good shape, everything full length,no delams or breaks, ferrules tight and decent finish. then with the reel $75 sound fair. you could always start lower and cap out @ 75.
I picked up a great South bend 253 double built years ago. The dealer started out at 110 and i waked away with it for 55. needed some work but was really worth it.

those numbers are similar to Silaflex fiberglass rods from the eighties, similar but not exact. Need more information including color, reel seat information and anything else you can find

not at all sure just in the post it says bamboo and the photo is impossible to tell if boo or glass. the reel seat looks to be bakelite with chrome plated fittings. i'd go take a look but it's 60 miles round trip. thanks very much for the info so far.

If it's a sliaflex or almost any decent glass withthe reel i'd go for it. I'd start at $60 and see where it goes.
