Furled Leaders

I have seen a lot about them on the board lately and want to make some. What is the set up and how would i make them. Pictures of your set ups would help so i see what to make. What materials do i need to actually make the leaders. Lastly what are the advantages and disadvantages? Thanks in advance

Here is one set-up to get you started. Google furled leaders and you should get some pics such as this one here .
I use uni 6/0; others use mono...some use fluoro...whatever...they work.
