    Default A couple great trips

    Last week I took my son to a local stream. He had a blast. Here he is with a nice brook. He caught the biggest of the day:

    Yesterday our Men's life group from church headed to the mountains: Here are some results
    Little rainbow on a dry fly. This fly wsa sent to me by a member on this site. You know who you are and Thank You: You tie some sweet flies:

    This is my buddy. This is his 1st ever trout caught. This is his 1st ever fish on a fly rod. What a HAWG!!! He is now ruined for life - Beginners luck:

    .... and so are the fishies.

    Your buddy is spoiled for sure. Tell him not to sweat it. Same thing happened to me when I started - first fish on a fly was an 18" rainbow on Henry's Fork. I have been HUMBLED many times since then.
