    Dear John,
I was being sarcastic about tossing them. They are considered a game fish such as a trout and the destruction of wildlife in such a manner is against the law. I've tried white fish but they compete so much with the trout that those of you who can stand the taste are encouraged to take as many as you want. That is why they put no limit on white fish but do on rainbows. It is always nice to get a good tug of the line however, I haven't kept a fish at least two years. I encourage catch and release, even for whities but if i have one on the line and see ya on the river I'd be more than happy to give it to you.

Hell I'll go to the Crooked today and catch a dozen or so and keep em. Send me your info and I'll send them your way.
