Haha this is too funny. I was thinking about this the other day. Most vests look like bras they are so short.

I always thought they were short to when you are wading you can keep your things dry. However I will give a search around 'the internets' and let you know what I find.

Many people wear what is called a shorty vest to keep there stuff out of the water when wading. I can't see where a tall fly vest would do anything more for you than a standard fly vest other than put more weight on your shoulders and give you more pockets to fill with stuff you probably don't need.

but then again I'm 5'11" what do I know about tall

I couldnt find anything that is a "tall" vest, however I came across this vest. I am not sure if it is up your ally, but it is much longer than normal vests.

    Default Short vest Preferred

At 6'6" anything in "tall" is my usual wardrobe.
    BUT
Why get the bottom of your vest wet when wading?
If you really want a long vest, look into a photographer's vest.
    Otherwise, I would stay short.
Personally, I use a waterproof waist pack that gets dunked regularly.
Oh, and I do frequently wade in water deeper than my waist. Probably not the best idea.
