    Default 1st trout in '06...a real gem

    ...braved the brutal weather this morning but was presently surprised to pull this guy out of the water...
    just gorgeous...fat and chunky.






    Sorry for the crap pic...rain, low light, disposable camera
    and a flash..not great...

    a great way to start '06 and hopefully a sign of good things to come...

    Now that is one wild looking trout, what did you catch him on.

    We don't have anything that wild looking here in Arizona.

    Thats a very nice tiger trout, especially for your first fish of '06.

    NICE fish. My first fish of '06, taken on New Years Day, was a native brookie of a size that your fish has probably eaten about 20 of in the past week alone. If that brookie was 3" long, I'd be amazed. The fly it took was nearly as long.....
