Thread: Warning!!

    Default Warning!!

Don't EVER, EVER, (and I mean NEVER) try to teach your wife to fly cast. She will thereafter blame you for every tiny little bad habit she ever picks up. Encourage her, send her to take fly casting lessons, but don't ever try to teach her anything yourself.

Sound advice , learned that one the hardway myself. When she says "hey I can do that!" , let someone else prove her right or wrong. LOL

I can teach any woman to cast as long as I'm not going with or married to her

I taught my wife to drive and survived, there's no way I would attempt to teach her to cast.

Now this is funny, at lest to me. Cause it isn't the who you teach, its the how that matters. But I'm not one to fly in the face of such over whelming consensus.

I can see you've never tried to teach your wife or girlfriend to fish, qrrfish1.

Thumbs up One of three things I would never do!

    Hi Wajdi,

That is excellent advice. I would never, ever, ever try to teach my wife to fly cast. The other two are golf and heroin. 8T

My wife wanted to learn so I taught her. Has one of the best casting strokes I've ever seen and usually outfishes me. She's a great fishing partner and my best friend. Can't wait to get her on the water this year. She doesn't do nasty weather, but she loves to fish when it's warm and calm.
    No regrets.

I taught my wife how to drive a standard shift shortly after we were married. Our marriage and the clutch survived.
