Old dog / new tricks
If you're cheap like me, you'll like this;
The local supermarket has started using a velcro like material to truss up it's veggies such as romain or asparagus.
When I saw one of these come home the other day I knew it was just the thing to use as a line tender on my extra spools. The hooks and loops are much smaller than standard velcro and I don't know how long they will stand up. But what the heck, they're free.
While I had velcro on the brain I came up with another item.
The price of tippit dispencers is a bit more then reasonable for my taste and I've been looking for an alternative for a long time.
The other day, I found that four tippet spools will fit perfectly into a check wallet.
With a couple pieces of velcro to close up each side and hold in the spools, along with four small holes melted into the vinyl to dispence the tippet from , I got just what I was looking for.
