    Chris,
    Just wanted to let you know how much I look forward to reading your latest and looking at the pictures of your rivers and pools. I often look at a map to see where you are fishing and wonder if I will ever see them in person.
    Thanks,

    Hey there Chris;
    While I echo wholeheartedly all the previous posts, I would love to visit you and your area not only to meet you and for the fishin but also to broaden my cullinary horizons. I do notice your emphasis on what's for lunch as much as what's bitin and that's my kinda fishin experience. BTW if you're out of fois gras, hot dogs over a campfire will do fine too.

    Mark, Lol!!

    Yup, ... seems that FOOD is quite a big part of any outing we do on the river.

    It started out years ago when I started in cold weather, ... I been eating half frozen sandwiches for lunch for the better part of my life (forestry work), ... so I know eating is important AND don't treat it like simply a biological necessity

    fixin' lunch on a sunny october afternoon

    ps .... if this works out right, ... next years fishIn will wrap up at the same time as the annual benefit supper for the river association (with no obligation to go). Still salmon steaks, spit roasted beef, ... does get the saliva glands pumpin'
