Onion Sack Swap is void/lack of interest

When in Europe earlier this summer, a friend I was staying with had the brightest red netted onion sack. Talked her out of it and have since used the tread to make some red softies. Since I've found those sacks in a muted yellow and green. Hense, the idea for my first swap of the season ? the Onion Sack Swap. We'll aim for 12 creative swappers in a name your fly swap. Let's set the deadline for entering October 15, the deadline for shipment November 15th. My vitals are John G. White, Box 672, Clara City, MN 56222. Most of you know the routine: toe tags with fly name and materials, with your user name; crush proof container; self addressed and stamped return; etc;.

Unfortunately I just signed up for a different swap and I'm way too busy at work to join another right now.

While I have never used onion sacks I have used

Orange colored orange bags
Black woven bands from orange bags
Red colored orange bags
Blue colored clam bags

They all make nice bodies for soft hackle flies.

I also use them for ribbing.

Keep me in mind if someone dropps out after the due date.
