Default Full sink or sink tip; fast sink or slow sink for Specks?

What is your favorite or most used sinking line for Specks under most conditions? Thanks.

    Default Sinking Line for Crappie

IMHO the best line for crappie is definitely a slow sinker. I use a type 3 occassionally and it is often too fast. Crappie like a slow presentation and sometimes you have to hold the fly at depth for suspended fish. A clear intermediate sink tip has proven excellent for me when fishing dragonfly nymphs and small streamers up to 4 feet or so. Deeper than that and I either go for float and fly (up to 8' or so) or to the type 3 on my 5wt for fishing 12 to 18 feet deep (like tomorrow).
