Just read this. Hope all of you had a great day as well. Retired in 98 after 30 years. Vietnam Vet.
Same Problem. Just Figured no one interested or I had It Wrong. Bye
Very nice as usual. Keep up the good work!
Agree with not fishing them. I have a box of collectable (as I call them) that I wouldn't fish for anything. For example, some of them were tied for me by Tony Spezio years ago during a visit. ...
Now that is interesting. Where did that idea come from?
Nice colors. However, I have more 3/0 thread than I'll ever use, plus all other sizes. Same thing applies to floss. Wish I had someone to will this stuff to one day. Grandkids are more interested...
I haven't visited this site in a long time, but so sorry to about Jack. I remember him well from the MI Fish Ins so many years ago. Thanks for sharing, Brad. Hope you are doing Well.
Good job on the MI body.
Sorry Scott, but I must ask. Do you try any of these wonderful creations you tie on the water. Seems to me there is not enough viability of the body of the fly. Just saying.
I wish scissors were the only problem I have. I also have a messy desk when tying. Materials everywhere as well. Between tools and materials, I frequently misplace some of the tools and forget...

Thanks for the tip, Byron. I wish tiers would share more tips. Many beginners are looking for things like this.
Merry Christmas and Happy and wonderful New Year. Christ is born!!
Nicely done! I've been effectively using this fly in the area mentioned for years. Snook, Red Fish and Specs love it.
Hate to hear your report on the Lochsa. Only fished there once, but really enjoyed the serenity and natural beauty of the whole area, to include the Selway. Although I may not get back there, let's...
Yep, I think that will be a good one!
I would suggest you following the advice offered by Tigfly and Sagefisher before you attempt the double haul. The double haul is certainly worth while, but a little more difficult to master. The...
Ron,
I'll add my appreciation for your efforts to maintain this site for the small community of us who continue to support it. I have forgotten why, but back in the summer I went through the site...
Planettrout,
I real like that fly!
With the black wing it could almost be mistaken as an injured Damsel fly. I like it!
I guess I left out Byron and several others who show their superb work routinely. Appreciate all you guys! Keep 'um coming. They inspire me to do best with my efforts. Thanks to all of you. Come...
Norm,
You are an excellent tier and I admire the precision of all your wraps. I even commented on how nice the head and your flies always look. As far as more people posting pictures: Most of us...
