    You might want to try gel spun polyethylene. Ultra available in four weights- 50,75,100,200 denier and several colors. I believe its $3.25 a spool. Thats half the cost of Fireline per leader.

    Looks like their re-spooling machine was out of...

    Looks like their re-spooling machine was out of adjustment. The thread is packed up against the red end where you re-fasten the loose end. I pulled off a bit but its ok. My other spools were ok.
