I have both of these and they work even better than advertised... A little spendy at...
If you know some bird hunters you can get skins from them too... starling, snipe, dove, quail, pheasant and partridge are just some of the ones what are really good for soft hackled flies...

I tied 3 of the original version and 3 weighted.. neither cought anything here nut they still in my box to try other places...
As usual another great fly... i like those kild of spiders anyhow...

Just goofin around the other day... 5rpm motor, some scrap wood, a switch and a few agilater clips then 2 thin coats of varnish... It can hold flies from a size 14 and larger... Smaller than 14 wants...
Darn... Too bad I didn't see this until just now... I like tying the older flies and fishing them as well...

wish they would and use the original formula... I dont use wax often but when i do i use the wonder wax... really good stuff...
I havent heard of that site before but sined up on it... looks interesting and maybe they have spey fly information on it too... always trying to learn something new...

I like the thompson wing former for wing sizes... Multiple wings from 1 feather, all equal in size to each other with no guesswork...
I get the body on the cricket fairly descent but when i go to shape the leggs they just fall off where the bends are sposta go...
Nice work... How does a quad cast compaired to a traditional rod of the same weight, length amd all ? Never seen one to try out...
