Got out after work on Cinqo de Mayo. Caught 3 Grass Carp and some other stuff. Last one was the biggest, as light was fading:https://s12.gifyu.com/images/2C821B2...BDAFC2BB07.jpgGot a late start on Saturday...couldn't decide where to go. Decided to spend 5 hours driving to fish for 3 hours. :)Caught 6 species. The highlights were:Redspotted Sunfish:https://s11.gifyu.com/images/IMG_6445.jpghttps://s11.gifyu.com/images/IMG_6438.jpgLongear Sunfish:https://s11.gifyu.com/images/IMG_6441.jpgAnd a new-to-me species, Blackspotted Topminnow:https://s12.gifyu.com/images/F5F9E8E...F36A85D341.jpgSunday, I tied some flies for a friend. When it comes to fish..."Big or small, I like 'em all." :)The big ones are more fun, the small ones tend to be more colorful/interesting. I'm really not trying to become a "micro-fisherman", although I appreciate the knowledge of those that are. But if they are big enough to get hooked on my flies, I'm happy to catch them.
