Curious when I try to get to FAOL using Opera it responds "FAOL refused to connect".....or something to that affect. Can't remember exackery what it says....

Must be something in your settings.
In the Help section there is a link to the Opera Users Forum, possibly someone there can give you some insight into the issue.
Opera is my browser of choice and I have never had trouble accessing FAOL with it.

Opera has been my favorite for a long time now.
But I am going to commence using Brave.
