Favorite Steelhead Pattern Swap
THIS SWAP IS NOW CLOSED
Hi folks. Tis the season for tying flies. The cold is setting in and its time to dust off the tying bench.
Here in the Great Lakes the steelhead have been entering the rivers for over a month now and will be around till late spring. It got me thinking maybe we should do a "Favorite Steelhead Pattern" swap.
Room for all types of patterns on this one. Weather your West Coast or Great lakes we could all learn from sharing some patterns. The rules will be pretty loose on this one. It can be any pattern you want (streamers, eggs, nymphs, spey, etc...) with only three exceptions: No Glo-bugs, nuke eggs, or wolly buggers. I think every steelheader already has their fair share of these flies. :-)
Lets make it a sign up deadline of December 20th, with a due date of January 31st to have the flies to me. I'm thinking 12 swappers including myself.
Typical swap rules apply: Toe Tags, Return Postage, Crush proof boxes, etc...
I'll PM all the shipping info to swappers once the swap is full.
I'll choose my fly pattern once I see what others have chosen.
Who wants to play along?

I am game, but don't shoot me!
I am up for this, just give me the details on where to mail them and how many, are needed! I enjoy using "Steelhead Patterns" for Largemouth Bass, in the local lakes around my home, in Minnesota. The Largemouth Bass seem to enjoy them too!
