Tying Symposium

Greetings.
I am trying to find out if anyone from the New York (City) area is going to be at the Tying Symposium in Somerset next month. I am flying out of JFK and am HOPING to find someone to carpool with to the city or as far as possible. I'm a sad California boy who is scared to hitchhike in New Jersey.

I will be tying there, but coming in from the opp direction and bringing in a couple of other tyers and their stuff.. If you were coming in to Albany early Friday I could pick you up but am not coming home untill Sunday night. There are a bunch of foreign tyers coming...do you know or have contact with any of them? See the list of tyers.. Whillock,Thorton, Broers, Tapio ... Know any of them? Lots more... Maybe some are looking to share a ride? Hope to see you there.........Bob

Chris, if you are staying over there are guys who will be heading back to Jersey Sunday night. I don't know when you are heading back. Other guys will be going back Monday. We can work on it if you plan on staying both days. If you are staying pick up a buffet ticket for Saturday night. Not only is there a free raffle that about everybody wins either a Whiting neck or saddle but some like me...win a beautiful landing net.
