Excellent site!

Donald,
Wonderful site! Had it bookmarked before and just re-book marked. Only took a few moments to look at it right now, but I'll definitely be back. I already got a tidbit on a good hook for Spiders. Thanks. BTW, I was stationed in the U.K. at RAF Upper Heyford between 1982-86. I got an opportunity in the summer of 1984 to travel all the way up to Inverness. I was able to fish for 4 days on the River Ness. I only caught 1 grilse but I was more than happy with that! I still have my DailyTickets from the Inverness Angling Club! I caught that fish using a Nine Three streamer pattern - one of my favorite (Maine) land-locked Atlantic salmon patterns. I also got to fish one of the smaller lochs in the Inverness area. There are some bruiser browns in those lochs!!! Scotland is a beautiful place to fish - wish I could have visited more.
Best regards, Dave S. (fishdog54)

wonderful stuff!
your classic pattern pages show what i hold near and dear, the more things change the more they stay the same. many many "new" patterns are at best rehashed classics and at worst copied classics.
Always enjoy your site. Nice collection. I like the half stones. Must try my hand at a few.

Donald,
Very nice update. I agree with Jeff, those half stones caught my eye, especially those on the Daiichi 1640. I'll be taking a few of them to Idaho with me.
