Here is a picture of some of mine (minus the micro boxes-3) Some of these are cartridges and you can't see the other side.

Anthony,
That's sad!! I think we need to have a "Fly-drive" for Anthony!
I still have the sound, in my brain and my heart, of Al Campbell LAUGHING when he saw the state of "organization" my fly boxes were in! But I was catching some beautious trouts!!
------------------
Trouts don't live in ugly places
I bypass the middle man and just hang mine in the trees where they are bound to end up anyway.
Seriously, my scheme is:
I have 3 boxes that I stock flies that I use regardless of what I am fishing for. One contains Wooly Buggers, Clousers and other usefull streamers, one for general purpose nymphs, and the other for whatever are my favorite flys that season.
The rest of my boxes are species specific:
Several for trout and bass and then one each for Muskie/Pike, panfish, saltwater.
Of course it's March and trout season doesn't open until the 15th of April. After a full winter of organizing and filling fly boxes taht will alst until about the 20th of April or so and then I will only have too many boxes full of too many flies. (Well the bass boxes will look pretty good until June or so).

Fish more, work less!
Hi, My name is Robb and I'm a fly tying addict. It took my wife along time to realize that once a box is filled one doesn't stop tying they buy a new box. I have a popper box, bugger /streamer, dry ,nymph,terrestrial,ant/beetle, and steelhead box.
When I go fishing I take the box for what I'm fishing for only to see them attacking something still at home.
One of my many bad habits is I change flies way to much. Recently I bought a 3X6 box with open compartments. Before I go I throw in a couple dozen of what I think will work that day, which cuts down on my constantly changing flies.
Anthony,....... What is that round Red & White thing beside your "flybox"???
A new kind of strike indicator?
