I want to purchase furled leaders for an 11 ft switch rod -- essentially an 8 wt. I don't want to make my own.
Who has purchased them and from whom. What do I want to look and ask for?
Used for salmon fishing, streamers mainly.

Any particular reason why a furled leader for a switch would be different than a single hander? My understanding is that you select the leader based on your quarry and style of fishing. If you are thinking you need it for a better anchor, you might want to consider using a 10' Airflo PolyLeader and just straight leader material. Haven't used a furled leader myself for any rod, but if I were looking to buy one or advice, my first stop would be Feather Craft in St. Louis. They've been selling them longer than anyone I know of, and have a pretty good selection.
Good luck.
Ortho, drop by the chat and talk to Jack Hise or Kaboom1. Both of them are hardcore furlers, but the switch rod might be out of their area of expertise.
i might be wrong but i believe it would be the same as regular furled leaders. it all depends on your taste. i cam make you some 7' footers for you to try if youd like.
I fish furled leaders on my 12', 6 wt. bamboo, with a 6/7 Rio switch line. I make my own leaders , (7', 9-7-5) with a ~2 to 2 1/2 tippet. My best results are with Tri-lobal Poly but have had good results with mono.

Lots of trilobal polyethylene at JoAnn's...embroidery thread
sorry for my ignorance but what is a switch rod?
You might give these guys a try:

I haven't used their spey/salmon leaders but have tried the trout leaders and was happy. If you look at their spey section and their salmon/steelhead section you should find something that will work when chucking streamers.
Orthoman,
I have sent you a PM.
