Just about anyone who sells reel seats sells the skelatons. Acidrod.com is one I use
does struble sell skeletons?

Most of my seats that I build is a BUL-5 from Batson. One of my dealers is Utmost enterprises. They are Batson relatives and their shop is about 2 blacks away from the company.
I buy the skeletons and make my own wood spacers.

most dealers that carry bellinger, struble etc. carry skeletons.
fishbum, where's the best location for buying 18% ns, and are you drawing end caps or turning them?
Most of the seat companies sell the parts to roll your own, if you want something that looks standard. If you want truly custom, then turn your own from 6061 aluminum, or get drawn cups from Brookside @ http://brooksiderod.tripod.com/components.htm#pbcn
Brookside also has some articles on how to go about drawing your own and how to use them.

I purchased 6 foot of 3/4 NS bar stock 8 years ago along with a pile of 3/8 NS rod for ferrules through a friend of mine who found some as surplus. I have not needed to replace it yet but I will need to soon.
I machine all reelseat parts for either cap and ring or threaded locking type.
To get set up to draw caps and rings is too expensive for my operation. Good caps and rings are available at a modist price from Brookside.
