Is anyone here a regular angler of the creeks and streams that drain into Lake Superior from the North Shore of the arrowhead region of MN? I am planning for a trip there next spring and am looking for some help on a few things.

Good luck.
I have only made one trip for fishing (so far) so I can't say much.

Thanks for the links, I've been compiling plenty but these are some new ones.
It depends on what you mean by Spring and what the weather does. Spring Steelhead generally start to arrive in early April and may be around until early June if the river levels stay up. In fact I have caught Steelhead in North Shore streams as late as July 10th following a big rain. There are Brookies in most of the streams with the best fishing being north of Silver Bay (Baptism River or north) as these streams tend to hold their waters levels better. Best Brookie fishing is generally above the barrier falls on each river and usually is OK through about the end of June.
