Can anyone recommend a small chest pack that holds up to saltwater fishing? My main concern is the zippers. I have an old Columbia pack that I like, but the zippers seem to be jammed up whenever I break it out every year.

Gadabout,
I spray WD-40 on the zippers after every saltwater trip. Keeps them working, corrision-free.

I use a silicon spray product that works well on all types. WD-40 is a great product, but can damage some types of zippers. In any case, you should be washing the zipper frequently while in a saltwater environment, especially before storing it for a long period. Then apply the silicon spray and you should be good to go the next time you use the pack.
Thanks guys. I have used Vaseline in the past, but it didn’t work that well.
