I did ok last year at the end of March. The water was high due to a lot of recent rains which was a drawback. All in all, good. Little River Outfitters in Townsend is a good source. Also there is a shop in Gatlinburg, but their name and address is on the home computer and I currently am not. (no comments please)

Live each day as if it were your last, some day you'll be right!
JOHN,
GOOGLE UP lOWE'S fLY sHOP IN wAYNESVILLE, nc FOR INFO.
You are right about the variable weather conditions in March. Expect anything from 25 degrees and snow to 60 degrees and sunny. If you will e-mail me just before you arrive I will try to get a weather/stream report for where you will be fishing.
Ditto on Lowes Fly Shop, Roger usually has all the latest info on the Smokies.
If you decide to venture over to the NC side maybe we can fish together.
Bryan
I'm hoping to get to go sometime in the coming year. The sooner the better! Thanks for all the info guys.God Bless!
