Houston area rod builders -- looking for some help?

Anyone in the Houston area (NW preferably) feel confident enough to teach someone how to do trim wraps?

I've got 2 builds under my belt but have 2 more I wanna start but have been procrastinating b/c i can't get the trim wrap thing down. :x

Here is a little trick I use...When you finish off your guide wrap. pull the end of the trim thread through the loop with the end of the guige wrap. You then have the trim thread captured on one end. Lay a tie off loop down and wrap the trim ring. I usually go 3-4 wraps. then pull the trim thread under itself with the loop. Presto! A painless trim wrap!
