Fiberglass 1wt
Just finished wrapping a fiberglass 1wt. that has been sitting around for over a year.
Had to wait until the sun rose to hit the water to pop it's cherry. I'm a 3rd shifter, so I'm up all night. I hit up the local Walmarts in search of Star Wars toys. Nothing new, but, I did pick up the black series 3.75" Han Solo. If you've seen the new movie, you know why.
6'6", two piece. (new cell phone takes the worst pictures)

The sun FINALLY rose on my local canal... I'm not opposed to night fishing, but, in my neighborhood, there are gators.

This little bugger hammered the fly. First ever on a 1 (fun) weight!

Three a dese, as well. Bent the rod into a U trying to lift them out of the water.

Anyways, I HIGHLY recommend ultra light fly rods! They are so much fun to fish.

Plan to fish a short 5'2" fiberglass #2 weight that should get finished after some epoxy on the thread wraps while fishing a graphite #2 weight or other short #3 or #4 fiberglass rods. Looks as if it's an olive wooly bugger in your canal fishing success !

I thought you would have Han Solo pose with the fish. Nice report. Jim
