    Hey there, Bruce!
I'm doing good! Would be "gooder" if I could go fishing! Haven't been since September!

I've got half a dozen blanks to build, but am still "pondering" how to build a bright (I mean BRIGHT!) pink blank first! Holler if you need any advice building your nephews rod! I'm sure I could confuse the living daylights out of you!

Hope all is well with you! With winter coming on, and your commute to work, please be very careful!

    Thank goodness!!

    We went to

Wyoming ...the Snowy Range just west of Laramie. Besides it being the trip from hell ... it was really fun! Still trying to recuperate from the trip, but will post something soon!

So terribly glad you're still my buddy!!
  4. Hi: No need to hide, Betty. I just wanted to be sure you were doing well and catching some fish. How was your trip and where did you go? Are you going to post a report? We're in a very hot, humid and low water period here in PA.
    Your Buddy,

I've not used any of the Seiver components. I have roughly a bazillion "parts" in my drawer, most of which came from H&H, that I've just never ordered any from them. Sure would like to hear what you think of them, should you get some ... at that price? Wow!
Extra tables, "designated" tables, sure do come in handy! If I had only the kitchen table to use, I'd probably starve to death! It'd NEVER get cleaned off!!
Keep me posted! And pictures are ALWAYS welcome!!

Hi there! yes, I have built on the Seiver blanks, and I LOVE them!! I've never built a bass rod, but if their bass rods are anything like their trout rods, you should be good! I wish I could help you more on this! You might want to call Schneiders fly rod/shop. He's where I bought all my Seiver rods. I think he'd give you a good heads up on blanks. They're really good people to work with.
Keep me posted! My son in law is one of those heathen warm water fishing people! 'Spose one of these days I should build him a rod, too!
    Take care! More later!

Hi, Bruce. I tied my Foxees a bit too big for most of the trout fishing around here but I got some interest last fall from a couple of big browns during the fall run. I plan to tie up a few minis in size 12 and maybe even 14 if I can figure out what to use for the little eyes that adds the right amount of weight.

Hey, I just read your profile and saw that you're an eco-friendly guy who loves nature. You might like seeing the big new project I'm into. We're building a new neighborhood in an existing Ithaca ecovillage. Lots of fun, lots of work. Take a look if you want at http://tree.ecovillageithaca.org

Maybe we should have a mini clouser swap to give me an excuse to tie up those small Foxees. Hmmm.
