I spent the last 2 days fishing with my kids. Well, they were fishing, I was keeping hooks baited and taking fish off! We used live bait at a local park and cought more bream (gills) than we ever thought possible, along with a few crappie and bass. Here are some pictures.
My 3 year old daughter, Lora, is more patient and catches the most fish, but she is afraid of them as soon as she sees them. My 7 year old son, Ethan, wants to catch everything in the pond, but can't fish for watching what everyone else is doing. Still, he loves it!
As soon as they become a little more attentive, I plan to start them on flyfishing. They are already hooked on baitcasting! That was easy...

Well, I finally did it! I cought a fish on my flyrod! Not much of a fish, but still, a catch. I used a black and yellow nymph that reminds me of these little bees common to this area in the summer. Wish I had taken the picture before I took the fly from its mouth!
